I'm so excited to share this new exhibition with you. For the past few months, I've been helping to curate a showcase of six jewelry artists who work with paper for Paper Hammer Gallery. "Paper Jewels" will be open for preview starting this Friday and Saturday. The gallery is open every Friday (2 - 6 pm) and Saturday (11 am - 6 pm) until February 25th.
The official opening reception will be on Thursday, February 2nd, from 5 - 7 pm. Midori Saito and Sara Owens will be there to answer questions and talk about their work (and receive admiration from legions of fans, of course!) Hope to see you there!
Paper Hammer Gallery is at 1400 Second Ave. Seattle, WA 98101. It shares space with Marquand Books and is next to Benaroya Hall.
